Jean has 30 years of experience in various roles related to early childhood, family services, and business management. These include providing training for children and community organizations, serving as a kindergarten teacher, Department Chair for a community college Child Development, serving as an Associate Professor/Extension Specialist for Texas AgriLife Extension (Family Development and Resource Management) and holding management positions in large Head Start/Early Head Start programs. Head Start positions included Special Projects/Grants Director and Training Coordinator. Jean is a Certified Family Life Educator with experience as a university professor in Family Studies and Child Development. Her expertise includes grants consultation and writing, staff development training, on line curricula development, and family literacy. She currently works as an independent consultant and a Federal reviewer for Head Start/Early Head Start grants.
Ranelle has over 30 years of experience directing or working with a variety of early childhood programs including non-profit and for profit childcare, faith based programs, and Head Start and Early Head Start programs. She was accepted and trained to be an EHS Child Care Partnerships Implementation Planner, consulting with newly funded programs for a successful start. Ranelle has been providing training for administrators and teachers for over 15 years. She has developed online training courses for Texas A&M, taught at the community college level, and currently serves as a Federal reviewer for Head Start / Early Head Start programs.
